just happened to stop working today. Both sides and no indication lights on the dash. just happened out of the blue. Checked the fuse and it was alright. turned off and on again and didnt change. went to the gym and came out and was still happening. went to a scrap yard and back and still didnt work. went to supermarket and when i came out it started working normally again!!

 

Works now but what happened??? pretty scary driving without inidcators, good job it wasnt dark so i could make arm signals. Makes you realise that most people dont bother indicating on the roads anyway.

 

My digital clock hasnt work since it happened (as it sometimes doesnt) but still didnt start to work when the indicators started to work again. are the 2 linked?

yep thats what was wrong with mine :D

should of mentioned that the hazards worked normally when the indicators didnt work. is the hazard connector still the likely culprit?

it's an easy thing to check should only take a couple of mins and it will rule it out if not

yeah trouble is they are working again now so dont know if that would of caused the prob happening in the future.

might be lose fitting conector and a jolt for going over something pot hole etc could of put it back in place but still loose

happened on mine recently. The control unit for the a/c moves a little bit. If the indicators stop working just press around the screen and wiggle the binnacle and all works again. Also happens sometimes after pressing the hazard light switch.

Yep the connector isn't in the hazard switch properly ;)
