Few things to think about!!!

In light of what has happened to K4$H with his car getting nicked think carefully about posting pics of your cars without blanking your plates out!

When the thread "Where is everybody from?" springs up from time to time try and be a tad vague instead of giving which village or town you live in.

Maybe now some people can understand why AndyP didn't want his car photographed at the Dyno day a while back.

...and reading that thread that Nico put up about the stolen RX-7, just goes to show you can't trust any fucker really!

Seriously, a valid point.

a good point timmi bud, there r thieving scum out there guys and a zed is a nice mota to nick, so i will deffo think 1st b4 posting addresses and picks!!!

But in my eyes if they are gonna nick it they will whether they know my number plate or not.

For me, what a stupid thing SE do with keys. I am sure if thier insurance company know they leave keys on car windscreens over night, will void their insurance, and the fact the cameras were not working would void it too.

Yes say where you live thing. People are out there who will go after a highly modded car if you give them an incling to where you live.

For me Wigan is enough. Its quite large with over 300,000 people so it will close to impossible to find 1 Z in that.

Ah, SRRAE, theres like 5 or more zxs in Wigan, hahaha You are soooo common biggrin.gif

I have to agree with what SRRAE's said. Very naught of S.E. People must see some very nice cars going into that garage, number plates or not it's a perfect spot for scum. As Timmy said u can't trust anyone, another thing (maybe a bit paranoid) is for the last part of your journey home, keep checking for someone following - it happened to my uncle a few years back. He was followed, then they jumped him when he got out at home.

Take care y'all

Hardly, the only way you're going to see cars going into that place is if you are standing outside, or watching it. The place is at the back of a business park with whopping great banks of earth surrounding it.

But as you say, stupid to leave the keys where they were.

My ex boss bought a brand new Scooby and went to Doncaster to collect it.

He drove home to Leeds, went inside to call his Mrs to come have a look at the car and when he went back outside it was gone. They must have followed him home from the dealer and sneaked in his back door and took the keys off the kitchen table.

It was found abandoned a month later in a rough area of Leeds with a baseball bat in the boot! Luckily the only visible damage was a scuffed alloy but he was gutted.

He had the car for a grand total of 45 minutes before it was stolen. Must be a record!

I used to have a huge sound system in my old car and got followed away from a pub once. They were waiting in a layby just outside the gates and as I passed they pulled out behind me but the way they did it was too obvious. After a few miles I came to a roundabout and did 2 laps to make sure. On the second time round they realised they'd been spotted and fucked off. biggrin.gif

Aye thats a good way to make sure. Make a few laps of a round-a-bout. But no more than 3 times wink.gif cos there is a law saying you should not go round one more than 3 times in one go. The truth.

I remember being followed a long time ago after leaving work, I had noticed them so pulled into a petrol station, I saw them turn around and pull up and wait, after filling up I drove off got to a busy junction leading to the A2(50-70mph type road) as the lights were turning red I sped up straight across the junction they were a few cars behind as the lights turned red, but they pulled out from behind the stopped cars and tried to get across the junction! I didnt see what happened to them as I was weaving in and out of the traffic on the A2 by then.

Didnt see them again, but I went round the block a couple of times before going home.

So be aware of whos behind you, a Zed is fast, but not in traffic.

If you suspect someone is following you the best thing to do is drive through a hedge and if they do the same you know they're following you

I was followed home one night from the pub and they were not very good at it so I spotted them. I just went home as normal and they drove off as I parked up. It may have had something to do with the fact that I used to live next door to the local police station and the shared drive had 3 jam jars sittign on it at the time. I nearly pissed myself laughing.

Yeah....he only went 'round 64 times because he had to check it was following HIM....He thought he'd pulled!!
