There's been quite a few posts on here recently from members saying they aint gonna resubscribe unless things are sorted out with this place... While we do have some issues, they surely aren't big enough to warrant not resubscribing? Threatening to leave isn't going to make things get any better - if interest dwindles from the members (who are what makes this place what it is) then thats even less motivation for anyone to get anything done, surely?

 

Not wanting any wars, just an observation really and I honestly can't understand what the major problem is?

Andy, why dont you PM MAC and put your name forward for the committee, and what you feel you could do for the club. put ya money when your mouth is mate. ;) :D

 

i agree - i think the committee does a very valuable job but i think it should be more visible and more accessible to the members. i know there are positions within the committee which require a lot of time for no gain but i think the majority of the committee should be on the board regularly - i know stella and kim are great at being visible :D i think andy would be great for the committee so he has my vote ( for what its worth)

Well, it wasn't that long ago I resubscribed and I don't see big enough reasons to stop me doing the same next year.

 

I've loved the zed since I was a kid and to own one was a personal dream come true. There have been so many people on here ready to help me with my technical incompetence and supporting the club is one way for me to say thank you to all of them. The help and advice and passion I've seen on here has been one more reason I'm proud to own a zed, so I for one give the club a big thumbs up.

I'm happy to become involved also

We (Wozzer and me) approached the committee with some good ideas but had no feedback yet

Can't see why anyone would say "I'll leave unless things change!" :confused: If the forum is getting that bad for them, then they should consider time away!

It worked for me earlier this year, I'm now refreshed and back most nights, although I'm not posting as much as I use to.

 

 

I also think Andy would make a very good Committee member :bow: Gets my vote anyway ;)
