Yeah I got a set from Dan

The difference is amazing I can see while driving at night

Duff put my ballasts behind the lights, ask him as he knows more about it than I do

Best bit of kit I've bought apart from clutch and wiring loom (far too practical I am.. not really into bling)

ive just fitted the same kit mate a couple of weeks ago and gotta say what a difference they made, can see where im going now,i fitted the ballasts were under the centre panel between the headlights

That was where I was thinking of putting them, no stock airbox in the way anymore but not had a look yet

ive got an apexi filter and there was plenty of room in there for them,if you look at the bars (adjacent to the headlights) that the centre panel sits on at either side there is a convienient hole ready for the bolt/mounting bracket,i just found the wires were tight to the back of the headlights, could have done with a bit more but managed in end..lol

Nine one, exactly my set up ;)

I usually fit them under the nose panel..but if you taking the headlights out (which I recommend as cleaning the insides makes a world of difference) then they fit underneath nicely.

Although the above the the "cleanest" install location it does make things complicated if you need to replace a ballast (ie you need to remove the headlight again). Fortunately it doesn't happen all that often that ballasts pack up but nothing is fail proof.

My suggestion is to locate the ballasts under the nose panel. The ballasts come with fixing brackets which can be screwed into the bar under the nose panel quite easily.

Our ballasts are fully waterproof so if you have a vented nose panel it should not make a difference.

I've already cleaned the headlights, about a year ago :hyper:

Under the nose panel it is then ;)

Sure mate - will do! Alternatively, keep an eye on the DTA-Motorsport section over in the Traders Forum; I'll be advertising them there the minute I've had the stock arrive!
