Hopefully someone can shed some light on this :D , I have the chance to buy some R33 rear brembo disks and calipers from a 95 R33 GTR, now question is will they bolt straight on like the front's? Also has anyone done this conversion on a ZX?

Yep mone too has brembo's on the rear. Straight swap. Not sure if you will have problems with the dust shield if there is one. The other thing is make sure you get the bolts with the callipers as they are a different pitch to the stock ones.

I think duffers discovered that some gearbox bolts from an old vauxhal carlton (or something) are the same and cost pennies!!!!

 

God knows how he found that one out!!

Vauxhall Astra gearbox bolts lol. Was complete chance discovery :D

BTW what exactly is the difference in the pitch ofthe bolts? I'm thinking it must be the mounting grooove on the caliper that is different?

Same diameter, finer thread pitch. The Astra gearbox bolts were the ones for the fronts, not sure about the rears....
