I have Import TT 2+2 Manual I figure that it has 280 bhp standard ... right??

 

 

It has the following mods and next to them is what I think the +bhp is for them

 

TURBOS STANDARD (I THINK) Not 100% Sure

INJECTORS STANDARD (I THINK) Not 100% Sure

 

-Blitz Induction Kit 10 bhp

-Performance Exhuast 20 bhp

-Decats 10 bhp

- Z centre Divorced Down Pipes 10 bhp

- Greddy Profec B Adjustable Boost Controller 15 bhp

- Greddy Side Intercoolers 10 bhp

- Ecu 60 bhp

 

 

 

Total Extra BHP 135bhp

 

So would I be right to assume that my car is Genuinly 400+bhp or am I way of and have got my figures all wrong, please someone correct me if im wrong..

well looking at the parts, there not too far off mine and mine is sitting around 388bhp

I would suggest the chip doesn't actually increase the power but allows you to get the most out of the other mods.

 

I agree with Chris, somewhere between 330 and 360bhp.

 

BUT - don't rely on our guesswork, get it on a rolling road!

I would say take off the 60bhp for the ecu and you would be about right.

 

A lot of it does depend on how much boost you are running

 

I got 347 at 14.5psi but i need some intercoolers

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the intercoolers don't actually increase the BHP, they cool the air from the turbo's better allowing you to increase the boost a little more (as long as your fueling and intake allow).

 

ECU - again this is about mapping and although it may help with BHP, it's only the the turbo's boost that will control how much additional power you will get.

 

How much boost are you actually running on the standard turbo's ?

The RWHP can be inceased without the flywheel HP being increase, by fitting lightweight pullies, lightweight flywheel and even a one piece carbon prop/driveshaft.

Replacing stock intercoolers will have an affect on power, as the stock intercoolers are restrictive and dont offer adequate cooling above stock boost pressure.

I now need intercoolers as my charge temps are too high at top rpm causing me to loose power
