They nicked it and left it 7 miles from maldon. They took around 10k worth of ice though but im just glad i've got the car back!!. Never really had much faith in the ol' bill but i guess that'll change now.

Thats good news. I'm happy for you m8. Just need to get SE to replace the Ice through their insurance now. Did they leave any damage or pull it all out cleanly?

Tell me about it!!. No damage to the car either. I think they must have run out of juice or summink. I had been working on a great big boot install for the past three weeks, to get it ready for the show. Pruducing around 160db - fuckin loud. But they took it all. I'll have it replaced on se's insurance. When i broke the news to my family, there was silence in the whole house as if there had been a death. All smiles now!!!!!!!!!!

You are one lucky man! Get a lottery ticket it has to be your lucky day.

Tell me about it!. Theres no damage to the car either which is good news. Not sure how much of the ice they got away with but will list it for you guys tomorrow. The police should hopefully release the car tomorrow so it might just make it for the car show. They have to fingerprint it. But fingers crossed, it should hopefully make down for the NEC. You have to say though that if the police couldn't find your car, there's not much chance of them finding any stolen car!

 

Saying that, a local import dealer had a bright pink GTi-R nicked from the forecourt. The only bit they got back was the front bumper.

Why the hell you all dont fit a snap-off system to your pride and joys i cant understand.You can spend thousands on brain cell deleating sound systems and yet £300 to be able to remove your steering wheel so the bastards cant nick your car in the first place,seems not to come into the budget!

im presuming you have piccies of said install and if so get em posted and i'll pass em round as that amount of ice is bound to show for sale pretty soon

Ok i have just recieved some more semi good news. They didnt take that much of the ice as it was too difficult remove but they did manage to get away with the four amps.

The amps to look out for are,

2 x DEI Directed 1100watt RMS class D mono bass amps

1 x 6 Channel soundstream amp

and 1 x 4 channel kicker impulse amp
