This is sent to try and sort out the recent arguments/insults etc.

 

In my opinion, this site exists for 4 primary reasons - as an information source, as a means of meeting up with other enthusiasts, as a means of buying and selling, and a place for having a bit of a laugh. Just as it can be enjoyable talking with others on here, it can also be annoying/frustrating. Just because there is a lot of humour and banter between people does not excuse offensive comments.

 

It is easy for someone to say something offensive about someone, and then when the other person is angry/upset, claim you were only joking and they don't have a sense of humour.

 

My "threats" were meant to imply that you were being a coward by only insulting me over the computer. It is of course stupid to threaten people who you don't know, and wanting to fight someone who insults you over a computer is futile and silly.

 

Can we all bury the hatchet and agree to try not to insult each other and turn a very useful site into a joke ? I will admit that some of my postings were unnecessary, I've said things which are probably incorrect and I am prone to overreacting. I don't really know any of you, so I cannot judge you.

Get yourself to a meet, if anyone 'decks' you after you've introduced yourself, you know you're in the shit !

 

Don't worry about it, we all get rattled about something from time to time, besides it hadn't 'kicked off' for a while so it was pretty much due

I don't have a hatchet for anyone on here many have made my life easier and some even saved me some money too. However if someone on here thinks that I may have upset them or that I am angry with them then consider any virtual hatchet well and truly buried.

 

Now expecting someone to be sarcastic....waiting......no?... excellent!

Welcome to the forum, you're right there is something wrong with this forum and the people that are on it, they are Human.
