ive drove one.......in forza.......would be awesome driving that through my town.....stunning looking car......

Did any of you click the link? :D

And saved it.......some amazing cars on display......

I believe there are 3 in the UK (Sure I read it or maybe a dream). I know there is a Burgundy One, because I have seen it and seen pictures of it on this forum way back in 03. Seem to remember it was up for sale for something like £1,100,000. It is a stunning car and in that blue (the best colour) it looks ACE. Burgundy isn't as impresive.

One of my favorite cars. I liked it so much I started making an R390 inspired bumper for the Z32...when I finally have my nice heated indoor garage/workshop (not long now thank Christ! :)) I might even finish the b@stard thing...;) Here's the first mould, looking distictly rough and ready, without light scoops and in need of a fettling before the final mould (since I made a slight miscalculation regarding the width...ahem... :D An easy fix but still ruddy annoying  )

Hey is that one of Johns wheels there Mr. My only worry about that bumper on a Z32 is that its going to make it look took soft and not hard and edgey enough. But fair play Leigh I Know how much work modding a bumper involves.

R390

Whole different league to the NSX, wasn't it like close to £500k new or something like that?

I am secretly making fibreglass replicas of Johns wheels so I can keep the originals for myself....shhh...don't tell him! :D

It'll look a lot more, er..."Grrrr" when the mahoosive light recesses are cut and shaped, the round lights are set in, and the front splitter and canards are attached. Well, hopefully anyway! :D Had a bit of a break from the fibreglass work (due to ghey health  :)) but starting to get back into it again now...I'm even going to be designing and making the air boxes for our V8 conversions :D (with the ever knowledgeable Senor Dixon supplying the all important figures I have to work with of course ;))

that car is fooking beautiful, if I won the lottery that is the car I would buy

you would have to find one for sale first

"To be read in a hush mental voice". I won't tell him. I understand now why you wanted that Alloy Silver. Anyway just think of the weight savings he'll make :D :D ;) + pure adrenaline rush they'll give him as he nails it out of the corners.

Still not conviced about the "Grrr" qualities of the bumpe, but I'm one of those people that actually likes my preconceptions dispeld. So get a move on Leigh and lets see it finished and on the car.

On scanning thru those photos..... Why is it the Z32's are the ONLY car with their bonnet up?:p Z32 reliability strikes again :D

Hi,

The road going version of the R390 only had 350bhp from a normally aspirated V8, whereas the Race version had the VRH35L twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre dohc V8 engine which produced 550bhp.

I remember reading an article in Autocar in the late '90s, about a guy who had bought one for £600,000 to use to go shopping in!

Cheerz,

Jez
