got my eye on the 13inch disc brake upgrade from z1 motorsports, seems quite decent and the pound is very strong at the minute has anybody else fitted this to their car?

Z1 kit inc pads but not calipers is 342 gbp plus shipping from US.

Alls i would say is the discs are some heavy buggers to ship in the UK let alone from the US, So shipping will be costly, add that to the overall cost of the kit and you may as well get dannys big brake kit, advantage being that should you require replacement discs, from danny or anywhere else they are easily available, the ones from the US unless you know what car they are from, you won't easily replace them, another advantage of dannys kit is should you wanna fit the GTR brembo calipers at a later date, they wap straight on, with the US kit you may still need to fabricate summit.

Agree - when the bottom line pans out there won't be much in it. About 4mm bigger discs and when they wear out??

 

Local is sometimes better if not a tad more expensive - some UK firms think the US Dollar is a straight swap with the GBP !!!

Z1 wants $230 to ship plus 342 for the kit - that's $572 plus whatever Cutoms and VAT man want from you this end - not such a clever deal now I suppose??
