i'm having trouble with my raid 0 HD i bought 2 raptor drives and installed Vista on them no probs but Vista has been messing around so i want it out and install XP back in. But i try and it says there is no hard drives i cant get xp to format the drives or anything

XP setup is unable to see the raid array as the drivers are not loaded to ram when you boot from the os cd.

 

There is an option to install additional raid drivers, F6 on booting from the cd if i remember correctly.

I had this and had to dis engage the raid feature, format and partition both drives and then load onto one drive, once this was done I then loaded the raid tools back on and it was fine.

thats correct, you need to have the raid drivers on a floppy if it's a RAID controler
