Heating system, wot am I doing wrong?

Hi I noticed eachtime I get on the car or off right on the edge of the seats and door near the floor I can feel a nice heating air...I looked on the heating buttoms and ac and there off, what am i doing wrong' I didn´t shut them off completely?

 

Also is it normal that when I am driving for a while and shut down the engine compartment is really hot??

    Its Just Blow By Through The Vents. The Climate Control Moves Flaps To Direct Either Cold/hot Air To Different Compartments In The Cabin. If Its Too Much Turn The Temp To A Cooler Setting Switch On Till It Blows Colder Then Switch Off. That Way The Flaps Will Be Directing Cold Air Rather Then The Hot Air. If That Make Sense.
