Still stuck in second but making progress

Just did the auto transmission diagnostic which gave me a "throttle Sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected"

Where do I proceed from here I have checked and cleaned the Throttle Position sensor but am still getting the error code. Is there a fuse somewhere on this circuit which may be the cause

Any ideas????

Check the voltage accross the TPS, autobox has two shift patterns one for normal/cruising and one for pulling/uphill etc. It bases the time to change on info sent from the TPS so it knows what position the throttle is in.

Make sure juice is getting to the sensor.

Have you cleared the error? Reset the ECU. wink.gif

Fuses are in the engine bay and drivers side kick panel.
