I can't claim to be any sort of expert in this area.. To be honest the man to comment on this would have been our old friend JayPSC.. He was in the process of building one from the ground up.. I bought mine already built.

 

The parts on this are worth a fortune, and somebody building a GTD40 or RCR40 could build a good replica, but of course it would be a replica of the modern Ford GT, all replica's are built in the image of the original 1960's car, not the new modern Ford GT, so the parts may not be desireable to the kit GT40 builder.

 

I thought for one HORRIBLE minute, it was going to be mine I sold smashed up :x:
