Royal Mail delays?

Anyone know if there are still delays with Royal mail after the strikes and backlog ?

 

Got a Parcel sent 'Standard parcels' mid last week that still has'nt arrived.

    Unfortunately, Yes ... still plenty of delays.

     

    Have been told that they are trying to keep up with the current post whilst clearing the backlog of post in a chronological order (ie, oldest post out first). I am still waiting on four parcels sent to me around the 13th of October. Two of them are via Special Delivery as well which was rumoured to have not been affected by the strikes. Can't claim compensation either as they suspended that for the duration of the strikes ... Barstewards!

    There is a backlog. We had a letter arrive yesterday from the bank which was dated the 8th. They sent sent us several letters dated the same date and the others arrived about a fortnight ago.

    My Special Deliveries are coming through fine but Standard Parcels are still delayed.

     

    Also depends on your area too. I guess some are worse than others.
