how would i do it, ive no idea what it entails, what would i do if i was to seel something and they wanted to do a bank transfer, also is the money straight into my account??????

the buyer would contact their bank with your banking details and ask for the money to be transfere. likewise if you were the buyer, i should imagine it would take up to three working days if the buyer and yourself were in diff banks

As for fraud not sure on that one to be honest, i guess its like anyhting when you hand your bank details out, the chance is always there

personally i would sooner use bank transfer than paypal

yeah not too keen on paypal, keep gettign emails from them saying that i need to add another account and so on as my old one has expired

It's easy and safe.

They just need your name, account number and sort code as people have already said.

 

They can pay more (?£20) and the money will transfer instantly - called CHAPS or something like that. Otherwise it'll be 3-5 working days for the money to appear in your bank account.
