well, like the title says, hello all!! :D

at the mo, i dont have a 300ZX but i have a plan to recitfy that problem!!

but my ride is a 2.5 V6 Calibra..so it aint too bad :p apart from it being wrong wheel drive!!

just a quiclie though, are ZX understeery at all? i have heard reports of them being quite prone to power induced oversteer (which is fun!) but not a big fan of understeer, but i am thinking that that big lump out front may cause it...what says you?

oh and can someone prod the webmaster as i sent him a PM and he has not read it yet! :p

Welcome to the mad house buddy.

If you are looking to buy then you can do worse than buying off the forum.

There is a buyers guide here.

As for the understeer, I wouldn't have a clue. I don't really push mine taht hard but I am sure someone will be along who knows better.

If you want to see some of the examples off the site have a look at this months comp. Just click the link at the top of my sig. As a member you can even have a vote.

All the best with finding a good ZX. Best advice is to take your time and find a good one.

My misses drives a calibra, the z aint nothing like it. Hate driving the calibra now

thanks for the replys guys! nice to be here! :D

another quick question, are the turbos a Sequential Twin-Turbo Setup?

i am sorta guessing they are.

Welcome.

Any car will understeer if you enter a turn too quickly, but the benefit of Rear wheel drive is its easy(very easy;)) to power it into some serious oversteer. You can alter any understeer/oversteer tendencies by fitting adjustble Anti-roll bars too.

The turbos are not sequential. They are two small turbos that spool together.

cheers for the info! ;)

welcome :D

Welcome - The rule of this place seems to be ... "don't be afraid to ask". There are people who have owned and worked on numerous Zeds over the years and they still ask the forum.

There are some extremely knowledgable peeps on here and from what I've seen in my short few months is they are all top quality too. If not a bit mad ;)

John

(looking forward to first meet next Sun :)).
