Power Windows

Hi Folks,

Seems like the black box, wired between the window switch and the motor (would it be a regulator) on the drivers side clicks when you operate the switch, but does not pass the power to the window motor (motor works on direct 12v), can anyone tell me if the black box in the passenger door is the same (design, wiring) dont want to strip passenger door to find that i cannot swap them out.

 

Door and everything is in bits.................so could do with a quick answer :D

    don't know if passenger side are the same but,

     

    apparently its a fairly common fault to get a dry joint, probably where the connector solders on. so if youve got a soldering iron it may be a quick fix
