I had an RD200, a fizzy was too weedy ...

But you could not have a RD200 at 16

Heres a shot of me at 17 and my Bro on his Fizz

Check out the white sox :o (1984)

That's true but I couldn't afford one when I was at school either.

i had an RD50, was pretty similar to the fizzy. had a 65cc big bore kit, micron exhaust, cone air filter and bigger jets in the carb. i loved it!

When I was 16, I had a purple 1972 FS1E, and then moved on to a Honda AP50, a blue one, but always wanted a red one because they were meant to go faster.. LOL ..Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of them :(

My next door neighbour is currently rebuilding his Fizzy after crashing it, and he is 16.. There's not many 16 year old's these days that would feel a Fizzy cool enough to ride out with mates who are on Aprilia's and Cagiva's etc. So far play to him.

(My lad is one of the Aprilia boy's, who thinks Fizzy's look a little odd :slap: ) ..LOL

lookin good i had the revised fs1e in the late 80's had drum brakes front back and a 65cc bb kit which blew up after several thousand miles of tourture :D

Ahhh the memories.

My sister had one before me, I then bought it off her I think. Straight through pipe, what a noise.

Then went on to an RD125 I think beacause I just missed out on being able to have a 250 age wise.

I can see why you go that forum with those sort of pics on the front page.

Darrell

this was the first bike i had

the honda was one heavy sod to pick up at 14yrs old. lol

I had a FS1E DXA , i fitted an 80cc barrel and piston kit and had a Terry Becket tuned pipe off a Kawasaki KH250 fitted , it was as loud as fook but i loved it :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Had a brand new RD80LC after that , brilliant little bike would power wheelie in the first three gears

Ah the memories :smash:

I had a Garelli Record, polished the ports and it pulled a bit better. We used to spend all night looking for any other moped just to thrash it. Inc those weedy Fissies. Lol.

Went through a few barrells and pistons though. :-(. And electrics...

First and only bike I had was the honda XL125.

My AR125 was Becket tuned used to Hammer any other 125 ;)

80cc Barrel on a fizz are you sure

What was it off

I had a mate with a Fizzie when I was 16.....we machined the head on it to raise compresson except I dont think it was perfectly flat becuase it used to have bugger all compression until it warmed up lol

I had a AR50, rebored to 80cc, Performance reed valves, ported heads..etc The rest of the bike was a POS but it went like stink.

That is going to look sweet - love the paint scheme.

Really tidy fizzys make about £2K these days!

I'm a bit too young (33) - I had an AR50.

I always had field bikes and sinc my Birthday was at the begining of September I just waited a month and a half after leaving school and bought a YPVS 7 250 Yamaha.

I wouldn't have ever bought a weedy Fizzy or the Frantics.
