Ok First off my name is Asim hey everybody im 21 years old (22 in january getting old) love jap motors, my uncle has always had jap cars and i just cant get enuff.

Having not owned one jap motor yet and having the money to buy one now my first choice was a r33 gtr, however a decent one was gonna set me back about 4 grand over my budget. I had worked out for insurance and the car but of 4 grand fully comp on a standard car cheapest was 3500 standard car even adrian flux and a few others couldnt get it cheaper than that as me being first driver with 4 points.

So the next best thing a twin turbo 300zx and ive already checked the insurance 1500 quid fully comp point declared and runnings costs worked out :D, the extra money id save on buying a zed and insurance will be saved and some spent on making the zed my personal car. I have a friend on the forum called danksy he has a twin turbo auto black 300zx and i just love it and want one badly now the gtr can wait till i hit 25 and insurance will come down and points gone

So if you guys have any tips on what would be the best to buy what to look out for id apprecaite it thank you :D

I have indeed some stunning examples at great prices cant wait till i start shopping properly :D

Welcome. Have a look throught the buyers guide and the for sale section.

Never think of the the 300zx as 2nd choice to the skyline. The 300zx is Nissans premier sports car and the skyline is basically a 2 door saloon with a primera interior. ;)

Welcome to the mad house.

You will find everyone on here helpful and friendly (well most of the time from what I've seen in my short time on here - lol) .

Take your time when looking, follow the buying guide and don't get impatient.

Good luck

John

Hi, you sound like you have planned this out sensibly but just make sure you have enough money to one side to cover the cost of repairs, especially with autos.
