Is that possible on stock manifolds? I wouldnt be using the stock rad either

i know the translations arent brill, but im reading 555's and 6 additional 380s. but youre deffo right - the max flow of the injectors is a very good guide to the max bhp they can help provide

That looks like a serious bit of kit? I suppose he'd have an extra injector on each cylinder? Stock rad seems a bit weedy?? Must say though, there was a new oem rad on my last Zed and the cooling was better than the Koyo's etc that I've driven.

Yep extra injectors on the zed only really work properly if they're attached on each leg of the plenum. Due to the plenum design you don't get proper fuel distribution if they're on the boost hoses. Besides, you want the injectors fairly close to the ports to avoid the fuel dropping out and wetting the intake tracts....

he's running greddy td06-20g turbos so they will be on either pentroof or the original greddy sus manifolds :)

 

interesting use of injectors!! bearing in mind you can get a few rails now which can take pretty much any injectors so if i was pushing 900+ then i would have gone for the border or 300degree and fit 1000cc injectors in it

 

interesting to see the power though as thats the same turbo setup as i was going for but mine had bigger cams so should have made more power :D

just translated the page and it runs 930 bhp and has just run a 10 sec 1/4 mile :)

 

also he had sone special RS yamamoto sus manifolds made in 46mm which is pretty big :)

 

some serious work in that puppy, strange he has a stock rad and dangerious he is only running 225 front tyres and 245 rears!! bet thats a bitch on the road LOL

Wouldn't having extra injectors make for better atomisation of the fuel rather than one big one in each cylinder? I think this may have been a suspected issue with Boomins high power Zed and number 6 cyl going.
