Hi All

Just a mail to introduce myself as I have just bought a 1993 UK Red with black leather 300zx twin turbo with full history, 82k, 1 owmer and completely standard....I have had tunnel vision in trying to buy a UK Supra twin turbo but after 2 odd years of up and down the country looking at over priced high mileage cars I have opted for this mint 300zx....It is as we speak at Nissan in Epsom having a whatever it takes service, I collect it this evening where it goes into my garage and up on axle stands where the wheels are being refurbished by spit and polish , then Bryan from http://www.driveandshine.co.uk ( my Maserati is on there ) will detail the car and a trimmer friend of mine is going to do the bolster on the drivers seat....anyway drove it for the first time this morning propely and loved it and looking forward to being a ZX member

all the best and kind regards Taz

welcome along sound like you got a very nice example, look forward to pics and happy driving

hello and welcome!

Get yourself to some of the meets (check the regional meet section) you'll meet loads of other zed owners and learn quite a bit about these beasts!

Ah well once you get it back im sure one of the Zed specialist garages will thank the Nissan garage for breaking it ;)

Sorry just a bit of an "in" joke. Nissan garages tend to be a haven of trouble for 300zx's as they dont have the first clue about them.

Welcome to the club and pray for your zed  :D

Hi All

I think I am in Safe hands at Nissan as a good freind of mine is head of service and the engineer booked to service the car is a 300zx owner himself....its looking like a £600-£700 ish one at the moment but its peace of mind and the stamp in the book..when shes finished I will definately post pictures and I will check out the meet dates and areas to see if there are any in the south that I can pop along to

all the best and thanks for the welcome Taz

I'm guessing it's Wilsons in Epsom who are doing the work - that's where I bought my Zed just over 10 years ago! I think they're still pretty good and they still have a couple of old school tech boys there who are familiar with the Zed..

Welcome to the world of Zed ownership and get yourself to a meet soon!
