I was just reading a thread regarding insurance for your zed, and i thought it would be fun to get a few quotes and see what they came back as.

 

I was completely honest with all the answers and i got the highest quote from Endsleigh, a MASSIVE -

 

£25790.50

 

 

Can anyone beat that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Only insuring your zed not a bugatti veyron! lol

You want to be carefull doing that. They share information you know. If you have an accident your insurance company could use the information you have put to get this quote to say you didn't declare everything and not pay out.

i got £8995 this renewal. I got a letter to confirm this quote.

I saw an add for a veron for sale that said no test drives without a 35k deposit as thats the insurance excess!!!

 

Highest I ever got was about 3k

 

Not sure about that being carefull with quotes and mods, its only a quote

 

I rang for a quote once and said I was considering buying some mods and wanted to know how they would effect my insurance.

 

that was before i had them declared

 

I offered to declare them to my current company who said they were not interested and mods wouldnt change my policy!

Didn't Karl300zx insure his zed for like 30K or something ridiculous? (apparently)

I'v had plenty of refusals, but i think the stupidly high quotes are rather comical - i mean whats the point in even giving a quote like that, i could buy ten zeds for that. lol

my insurance wouldnt insure me if my 91tt with stainless steel ex and induction kit was over 300 bhp im not sure what it is but i said it was 280 :smash: and he still had to go and have a chat with someone i pay 104 a month

most refuse me or it's like 3K for tpft i did have a quote for my MK3 V6 capri at 17 for 5K
