Sold my Astra Coupe last week and ive just picked up an '04 Vectra 2.2DTi Elite. Doing about 20k miles a year just getting to work so it makes more sense. Im actually quite impressed with it. Its not as sluggish as i thought it would be and the standard equipment in the elite is very good. Also got leather seats so its very very comfortable to drive.. :hyper:

I sold the subwoofer with the astra. Gonna buy a new system for this car :hyper:

Christ, it's turning into the Vectra owner's club on 'ere! I have the newer version with the 1.9 CDTi. Prefer the look of the older ones (like yours), I have a newer one and they look a little odd from the front.

 

Very impressed with the engine for an oil burner. Same unit as fitted to the Saab 93s.

Pete, you probably won't as it's your daily driver, but I guess you've seen the Irmscher stuff you can get...

I get 500+ miles to a tank. Costs about £50 to fill up.

 

Is based on the Vectra not specifically the Estate. All share the same floor pan beyond a foot past the rear suspension.

 

I like the Signum.

I recently retired my diesel Xantia and got a BMW 330d. I'm not a BM fan, but the engine is fab. After being remapped it'll have as much torque as my Z !!!!

I actually sold my 52 plate Vectra Elite 2.2 Dti to get the Zed.....still regret it slightly...was a fantastic car! Was never really a fan of Vauxhalls but it did me proud!

 

Quite like the Monaro and VXRs tho....tashty!
