Had my motorbike test today and i am please to say i PASSED. . . with flying colours.

 

Was abit worried thoug as my test was 1.03pm and everyone before me had failed with the examiner. woohoo

Im going to get an R6 now :cool:

ive a soft spot for the ole lc"s .i had a 350 lc with allspeeds a couple of years ago. very quick bikes in their day. when you say you always fancied a kr1 do you mean the 250 kawasaki or did you mean r1. my mate had a kr1 back in 1990 when new and i had a suzuki rgv. mine was slightly quicker than the kr1 but his kr1 sounded awesome. they were the first of a new breed of 2 stroke sports bike and at that time out paced a lot of 600 cc bikes. 600"s nowadays though like r6 and gsxr are mega quick and far more scary and out pace almost all cars. mmmmmmmmmmm.

 

kr1....&s's they had the looks an the kips lol. mine had reed valves no ypvs no fairing , single discs front drums back would not stop but would kill a sierra cossie upto 120 . just behind a stan stephen stage 3 350lc one slowly gaining ground on me. stopped for a fag and a chat then fooked off. going home went up a 180 degree real steep blind , hill he took 2 cars out and never saw him again..........more balls or less sense than me

cant beat the sound of a lc with a set of allspeeds or microns and that gorgeous two stroke smell. real petrol head stuff. lol.

two stroke smells luuuursh ............... real noisey too. pmsl it used to backfire all the time in the wet with the s&b's would have to stop and wring them out lol. frrrrreezing cold in the winter had to slide my hands off the end of the bars. Hands were always too cold to pull the brakes. How i miss those days :hyper: makes me feel old had microns on the AR 15

The instructor said it sounded like a tank still passed me though it was the old watch you on 3 corners test before the acompanied rider one they have now. Guy was about 6'6" tall and said when I step out from behind a car you must pretend I'm a small child playing by the road. I saw him about 60' away lol
