Well all - I will still be at the meet, but not in my Zed :-(

Mr D came, sorted out my coolant issue, got me running on 6 cylinders again only for my car to fall at the last hurdle........ the Block test!

So with a fooked CHG I will be getting a lift me thinks *sniff*

 

I'll give you a lift sweetie, you need some cheering up

 

I'll come along too, as the last meet I woke up at 11.58am ... thought bugger missed it..... jeez I have been so bloody tired the last few weeks!

hi tonyc alex here black zed from ashby fields im goin to the meet if you want you could come up with me in my zed plus i really want someone who knows zeds to drive mine to see if it feels right :D

 

God idea there Alex,will let you know nearer the time if me defo able to make it,and if i drive a Z again it will do me head in to get another,resulting in possible divorce :D ,there again you sure,very sure ya want me to give it a blast :D

Hi,

Don't forget that the clocks will have changed at 2am on Sunday 28th, as it's the end of BST.

It means you have to put your clock back one hour, so at least you get an extra hour in bed!

I will hopefully make this meeting, but as it's the end of school half term, it depends what we're doing.

i think its time i made an appearance now i am nearly finished with her

I am coming to the meet now because i am now the proud owner of a 1994 300zx tt lwb auto,i will not be able to get there untill about 3oclock i have to work sundays but the clocks go back that weekend so not all bad 1 hour extra in bed.

might pop along as a spectator, last time i went to a 300 meet was JAE 06 so I have some catching up to do :p

Have i missed something??? WHat Time is the meet?I Swear i didnt see it in any of the posts! Ill defo be there!Name is already in the list :D

We normally gather around 12. Its quite informal so no set time.

As we regularly meet on Sundays at lunchtime we have found in the past that it pays to get there sharpish so we can grab tables for lunch. Lunch is optional tho if you just want to have a drink and a natter then thats OK.

The last time we visited this place the duty manageress got a little hot n bothered about having cars in the car park :shock: and too many people in her pub. :shock: Later however we had an official apology from Toby Inns over the incident as one of our club members lodged a complaint to head office. :rofl:

We normally meet around 12ish, but do not always go in for a meal at that time, the last meet at The Forge, I didn't leave until around 2.30pm and there were still members still nattering when I left. Hope this helps.
