Had My Z32 about 6 months now. It came standard with trust/greddy cat backs. Read the sticky's here I think I'm gonna be ok but wanted to make sure before I go ahead and part with more cash. I am thinking of adding apexi air funnel and decat pipes.Question is will I need to have ecu remapped(if that can be done on stock jap '90 ecu) or have an AFR Regulator fitted. Thanks for any help in advance

No you'll only need a remap when you increase the boost. Worth noting that you should always reset the ecu after any 'breathing mods' to allow it to relearn. Done by leaving the battery off for about an hour :)

cheers for that. Do you think that could possibly effect the alarm/immobiliser as the guy next doors 944 wouldn't start for ages after he disconnected battery. Sorry to be a pain in the ar~# but I not too good with cars I just like them. My lack of experience makes me worry sometimes.

nah wont effect your alarm/immoboliser

Nr Newport South wales(no I can't fit a sheep in the back of my zed for anyone interested :) ) had a close encounter with the key in car syndrome when I bought it. Central locking is on the alarm key fob luckily the passenger door was open as I just atarted trying to fix door speaker keys were on seat and it locked itself after 20 seconds. It kept doing it then it dawned on me it was to do with the alarm. I only had 1 set of keys at the time. Learned lesson earlier rather than later fortunately.
