hellooooooo, new zed owner in gloucester, need some guidance, no owners manual, lots of shiney buttons and switches, no idea what theyre all for. lol. main one the a/t, hold, power switch on the auto box, whats it for, will i knacker it by having it in POWER all the time?, need some bits too, posted in the parts wanted section if anyone can help. cheers.

Power mode makes the car hold gears longer and downchange quicker.

 

Hold mode is like a winter/cruising mode. Makes the car start in second, and also wont kick down the same. quite nice for milling about if your not wanting to go fast.

 

the one on the side of the stick is overdrive, fairly self explanitry but it basically disables 4th.

Hi mate and welcome to the club!

 

I have a jap import with all the same buttons lol!! the hold button basically pulls off in 2nd gear, ideal for winter! IIRC "Power" changes the gear ratio so it changes gear at a higher RPM.

 

Hope this helps, still learning too! Oh, and by the way, if you havent already, geat an auto box cooler otherwise you will cook the box!
