The more I live in and hear from other UK residents, the more I become concerned, so I would like to ask everyone here is this the country you would like to raise children in?

well i live in a nice part of the coutry, low crime rate, very pretty, nice little village with no yobbos roaming the place at night. nice little primary school, some good secondary schools too.

 

im looking forward to the day when i have kids and can bring them up in this fine area.

where i live the kids are knocking out drugs in primary school, as they are below the age of getting prosecuted, so the parents use them to do it for them.

 

This country is a joke, i may be being a snob but if i ever do go down the route of having a family i will work my tits off to get them into a private school, where they still teach manners, respect and self worth.

You are not a snob, you are a concientious person who has respect for herself and this then means you have respect for others.

 

You don't need to send your kids to private school just move to an area that has a good school nearby, just because your area is a shithole, and it has been for hundreds of years, it doesn't mean other parts of the country are as well.

 

Saying that I'm off to Australia soon so I can escape the stupidity of a socialist government that has not got a clue a society.

I sent my kids to private school and believe me the Drugs thing is worse there than at state schools. Some off the kids there have a £1000 a week pocket money. My kids at first felt like porpers, but got over it.

 

Some have £100 a day coke habbits, buy dope by the kilo and generally are totally fooked up waists of space with no ambition because they have it all for the asking so why bother.

 

My son made some good money at school buy burning Porn onto CD's and selling it the the rich kids. I didn't know at the time, but now he's grown up and at college he tells me a lot about what was going on at his school. Believe me though rich kids are as mindless and as yobbish as any Chavs.

I think it depends on HOW you bring them up, not WHERE!!

Lou's 18 now (i know - fook!! :wack: ) & doing very well, went to Grammer School, stayed on for 6th form, just got her results for her A levels (done very well) now got a place in Kent University doing a Degree.

she has alway been a very polite & lovely girl & has done so well already in her life.

I am very proud of my daughter :)

 

& all done in the UK LOL!! :cool:

as said its down to how you bring them up, if you live on a highrise council estate expect problems(in most cases, as its not the parents it can be the individual, friends, drugs)

well i know one thing they aint going to a comprehensive in bloody Rotherham lol!

 

not that ill have any as they are a costly commodity and i aint selling the zed lol

 

I went to a private school myself and never saw drugs or anything like that, there was having a crafty FAG behind the sheds and as a non border i prvided them lol.

 

Thats as sinister as it got though.

 

I hated that school, made me cry nearly every week but im grateful of it now as all the schools round here are well at the bottom of the league tables, i didnt do well at the one i went to, so i had no chance at the local ones!!

If rotherham is so bad... how come you dont move?

hmmm suppose it does cost a shed load to move... Cost me a fortune moving from Dunfermline (Scotland) to Southampton :(

My daughter live's in Holland ,and it's one of the BEST place's for kid's to grow up in ,,the health care ,school's and Quality of life is 10 time's better than here ...

For many years now I have wanted to move away from this poxy place. New Zealand was my prefered new homeland. But it wont ever happen. I couldnt leave without my son and grandson.

.............................There's Nowt wrong with this country apart from the fact that everyone thinks their entittled to more than there worth, that their expectation exceed their capablilities and they think this because the country is run by leftwing arse wipes, who think being a politition means they have a right to tell us what to do. That also think taxing anyone who puts in work or endever so they can pay the dolites similar income to the residue of said worker salarys. Thus bringing us down to the lowest common denominator (as with education etc because they themselve are fooking unemployable at anything else)

 

Then create a system that protects all imigrants and none christian religious groups. Ensuring that they all have nice houses and plenty of food money, decent cars etc all on the state. Whist shitting on it own indiginous people especialy the ones laying down there lives to protect our freedoms (fooking joke).......................

 

That's it, exactly what's wrong with the UK, in a nutshell Mark! :(
