he was a knob but he is also one of the best managers in the world so its a shame to see him out of this country!! just because roman owns a club does not mean he knows how to run one which is where the problems come from.

Guss Hidink for Chelsea you recon? That wouldn't suprise me as he's only doing the Russian national coach job as a retainer, But I think they have lost a far better manager in Mourinho. I liked the guy, because he was a real Character who had self believe and a CV to back it up. All the really special Managers have an edge and overwhelming self belief. Brian Clough was much the same and was proberbly the best football manager there's ever been.

roman has been payrolling the russian national team anyway so he pretty much employs Guss anyway so whats this space :)

I reckon that they've sacked him now so that if he goes to another Champions League eligble team, the Chelsea players will be cup tied this season and won't be able to play, if they follow him abroad!

i wasn`t shocked when my phone went off in the wee hours of this morning.

it just comfirmed what blues fans had been anticipating at some point.

by mutual consent utter b******s in my opinion i shall miss him big time he`s bough the good times back to the bridge and shaped us into a top european team,but i.m.h.o. he should`ve gone end of last season after all the cracks appeared in the fragile relationship with abramovich.

i watch alot of chelsea games and the deciding factor for me was the cup semi against blackburn at old trafford we won it with a ballack goal and had qualified for wemberlee i was only a few rows back from the area where mourinho and abramovich met on the pitch afterwards and the facial expressions were priceless neither of them looked at each other in the eye

just a quick hug and then different directions.that gesture said it all to us up there.
