I am thinking along the lines of going for a Scooby STI when someone buys my Zed as I want something super quick but practical.

I don't know a huge amount about them other than being huge fun to drive and that the J-spec cars have loads more power.

Its an old shape STI I would like to go for if possible (no references to GUM clinics please!) but I know specs were quite different between the STI 1 - 6.

Anyone got any good links about Scoobs so I can do my homework?

Cheers,

Justin

Fix salvage myself, lots of money to be saved - as long as you're willing to work. lol

at a salvage yard near you, my mate uses century slavage in houghton near sunderland, if you know what to lok for and know how to do it-it can save you a fortune, that is if ya dont mind running around in a repaired crash damage car, also check with insurance company before buying, also again lol, they dont always have evo's and 350's in so you may have to wait

6k is my absolute top limit I am afraid.

Well I just helped a mate buy one a few weeks back for under 5k and its in very good condition, and goes like a rocket, well does now after I worked a little magic on it ;) its a J-Spec V-Limited very nice car and his rolling road figures are not bad for a almost stock car :)
