Fitted my Induction kit today

Fitted my JWT filter today, I was surprised at how much difference this made!! the car is a lot more responsive now & revs a lot quicker.

not sure if this is down to the filters in my stock airbox being aftermarket jobbies. didnt think it would make quite that much difference.

Its a cone filter, bolts straight onto the AFM, and yes I would say its worth it.

I took it for a blast yesterday and listened for the dreaded "honk"!! couldnt hear anything other than the induction noise being higher than it was.

I havnt had a chance to run it for long yet as im on 24hr callout this weekend in the works van frown.gif

Hi Tony,

Filter is a JWT popcharger, bought it from Courtesy Nissan for a bargain $100!!! normally $120 but just so happend that they were having a customer loyalty discount day when I ordered it along with a few other bits & bobs. I mainly needed a PTU ($157), but took the chance to order a couple of other bits too. shipping was $42 and had to pay another £50 duty when it got here.

still cost less for the entire order than just a PTU from nissan over here would cost!!! biggrin.gif

I will prob get a Mongoose, a few guys have them here & give good reviews on them. have to wait till iv got a bit more pocket money tho frown.gif my wife & daughter get funny with me when theres no money for food for the rest of the month!!! biggrin.gif

Hi Paul smile.gif

Good to meet you at the Slough meet bud!

When I took the R33 out it sounded fookin sweet on the induction - that car had twin cone induction and on gear change at high revs it 'wizzled' - kinda like a double version of the noise WRC rally car makes on gearchange.. loved it smile.gif

Not sure if this is similar to the honk others have described but I'd love that sound on my car....
