Ive tried uploading a Gif Avatar, but every time its says the file is to big...Help Please?

It used to be a maximum of 100x100 pixels and 4k in size. Not sure if it's changed recently tho...

Yeah as above, use the online GIF image manipulators. Unfortunately, due to the very very small size allowance, both in terms of width and memory on this forum, you're unlikely to be able to resize it to a decent degree. I've tried many times and clarity is totally lost leaving a mess of unwatchable colour.

I use fireworks to resize my gifs.

 

I think the quality is good enough.

Nothing has changed recently, or for at least a couple of years for that matter. I think we did increase the sizes from the forum default settings, but that was ages back.

i think the file size limit is too small. cant it be tweaked up a little? ;)
