Just bought a house in Sardinia, which will be used to rent out for a holiday destination of when its free for me and the family to use. Only cost us £37,000 as they place is currently owned by my father in law and he gave us a good price. So I'm happier than I have been for the past couple of weeks. Just need to sort out the pain in the arse Shed X and ill be happy.

Sardinia's a lovely island. So is its northerly neighbour, Corsica. Definitely my favorite Mediterranean islands and unspoilt by the British tourist industry unlike Majorca/Ibiza etc. Been some years since I was in Corsica, but was in Sardinia a few years ago down in Cagliari. Very pretty women there.

im closeish to cagliari, well by train lol. Our place is in a nature reserve in the south west of the island. ill find out the name of it when my brain starts working again.

Takes ages to drive anywhere in Sardinia and Corsica due to the landscape. Actually, in Corsica, it takes ages by train as well. Some 3 hours worth getting from Bastia, which is in the North to Ajaccio in the south. But the train rides are quite good fun, not only because the scenery is spectacular, but you get to see all the cars that have come off the roads, which end up half way down the sides of mountains!
