The Conzult threw up that my VVT isn't working, you can hear the solenoid click but it doesn't do anything???

I have a wiring problem to the boost solenoids. Could this bee Loom related??

How do you mean its not working? It won't have much effect if you turn it on at idle during a conzult test....

Well Dave C was conzulting it and said that it should run noticably differently when the VVt is engaged at idle. ???

I wouldn't say noticable tbh. You might here a very slight change in engine revs/exhaust note but thats about it. With the exhaust you have on you'd be lucky to hear anything at all lol

Well you could hear the solenoid click but no noticable change in engine speed. Do you know if it would reduce the BHP considerably if it was broken?? Just that i got a dyno @262 bhp with 7psi which is about right?? Hoping that its not broken then?

It would affect power yes. It basically reduces valve overlap to give better cylinder filling when the exhaust pressure is high at increased rpms.... If you can hear them clicking I'd say they were working. All they do is plug an oilway on the back of the cam to allow oil pressure to rotate the sprocket at the other end relative to the cam. Difficult to explain really lol
