Does anyones do this? and what mods have they done so it starts to do this.

 

Also do certain mods make the car sound different with exceptions to the airfilters and exhausts as that's pretty obvious???

 

Also what about manifolds and downpipes do they alter the sound?

i think the skyline boys use the bee-rev limiter.

you can also do it with AEM engine management if i recall as you can config it to spark on overrun as jaypsc did it but obviously i can't ask him

Need to remove the cats as well (I think).

Cool, i have ditched the cats and also have the Aem so i will ask the tuners when it finally gets mapped.

 

Alternatively Anti Lag ;) haha ok i can't run that all the time as the turbos may get a lil angry with me.

mine does it!!! dirty great blue bunsen burner flames come out of mine when i give it some stick on the limit, run rich, get rid of ur cats and show no fear!!!!

i get flames from my zed too.

 

de-catted, 555 injectors, andy p. chip, free flow exhuast, hybrid tubs, intake mod, and set the timing 1 or 2 degrees retard of base.

 

take it to the limit in revs, change up and wwwwhhhhhhoooooooosh!!!!! out they pop.

 

I LOVE IT!!!!!

with the aem you just dont set up the fuel cut and it will pop for fun.

 

to be honest once you have no cats and a good free flowing exhaust you should get flames from a turbo'd car, obviously helps if its over fueling a little

mine does it randomly once the exhaust is hot even at low revs, can sometimes just be a little pop or a full on boom, just wish I could get it to do it when i wanted lol not when Im passing a police car for instance

LOL reading his knowledge on how the stock rev limitter works and also that he thinks the power fc is a piggy back ecu, I wouldn't bother :rolleyes:
