Apologies from me, was going to be in Plymouth anyway on sunday to view a few cars that my son wanted to get ( first car, as just passed test ). then on Saturday we found a car in Bristol, so ended up there on Sunday. Anyway we bought it; Seat Ibiza, tidy first car. Just trying to sort insurance now!!! £2K

Weather was absolutely crap all weekend, glad I took the Astra up.

Promise will be at next one if south of Bristol somewhere.

Well the Glouceter zeders havent attempted to come to any meets down south or even in Bristol (apart from one or 2) so Gloucester is very far for us Plmouthians who travel as far as Bristol for meets ever time, well me n Dave n Rich, so trying to keep them localish cos 3-4 of us in Plymouth and new gathering in Paignton so suits us to be closer to home.

a few of us have had our cars off the road i know mine is but it was always like we said a few years ago bristol for us is not to bad but for us to goto plymouth is at least 3 hours as it would be for you to come up here it would just be nice to have something this end just for a change, the southwest does go as far as tewksbury but at the mo i'm afraid midlands and welsh meets are closer to home for me rather than southwest

We get this problem as like you said the Southwest is a very large area. its the same for the cornish, so maybe just arrange a few smaller meets between ourselves as it never seems to work as some pay lots for petrol and time and some dont.

Could have a regular big meet once every 3 months and just local ones inbetween.

Thats the idea!

Alternate Plymouth/Exeter/Bristol for main meets then have mini locals in between. How about setting up dates well in advance so we all know when and where and wont clash with any local meets that people want to arrange!
