Head Unit Amp Power Remote Question

Last night all my amps stopped working, Its the remote wire from the head unit. Its only 2 months old so can take it back but will have to be sent away, in the mean time, is that remote a 12V????

 

Can i put the amp remote wires to the yellow power leed so that they switch on with the ignition not just the head unit??

    yes. the blue remote wire is a switched 12v. if you want to bypass it then connect it to the red wire, not the yellow, as thats normally the memory wire which is perminantly live. the red is the switched ignition wire.
