Its for one of the .com insurance people. Its computers, he's MCITP buisness inteligence somthing or other. I do know there are not many in teh country with that qualification what ever it is. Its a 6 hour commute there and back. He cant move as his eldest is just about to take his GCSE, and danny is a tad fragile. so moveing 100 miles is not an option at this time.

Thats what I do. If he took the self employed IT contractor route, he could claim his hotel bills mon-fri and travel expenses to and from. It legitamately cuts your tax bill by loads and there is no need for a long commute. It does mean mid week away from the family though :-(

Been on the tains lately. 6 hours no problem. Each way sometimes.
