Hi gang..

 

I have found a nice set of wheels for sale.. But they are:

 

BLITZ

Front - 18" diameter, 9" wide with a PCD of 114.3, offset 41.

Rear - 19" diameter, 10" wide with a PCD of 114.3, offset 45.

 

Tyres - Pirelli P Zero Rosso, 235x40x18 front.

Pirelli P Zero Rosso, 275x30x19 rear.

 

Are there likely to be any fitment issues with these??.. I've never fitted different sized wheels, front to back before.

 

They are to be fitted to my wide arch zed.. Currently not lowered.

Yeah lotus used a smaller diamter wheel at the front than the back on there V8 Eprit...

Says that the maximum offset is 42.

Yep.. I wondered about the rear offset.. It's bad enough fitting 10J, and needing to fill the arches, that offset doesn't help things.. Don't think I want to be driving around on 70mm spacers :wack:

 

O well.. Back to the drawing board.. But I think I will do 18 +19 in a different wheel, maybe Ultralites ;)

Yep.. I wondered about the rear offset.. It's bad enough fitting 10J, and needing to fill the arches, that offset doesn't help things.. Don't think I want to be driving around on 70mm spacers :wack:

the only way to avoid spacers on the rear would be to have a negertive offset on the rear unless you go for a 12" + wheel

 

PWR in Blackpool would sort you out with a nice set 19" of EVOX 3 piece with Perrelli RossoTyres for about £2700. That would be a 9J front and a 12J rear.

Oh right.. I suppose the Hicas wouldn't like it much either :confused:

Do PWR have a website Mark?

Providing you alter the tyre profiles to ensure that the rolling circumferences of the wheels are as close as possible then it should make no difference!

 

If you stick with 18s then you would have (say) 265/35/18 rears and 235/40/18 front - most owners here running 18s have those sizes. So if you went for 265/30/19 on the rear they would be the same size overall as the 265/35/18.
