.....for my zed.

The bodywork has been modded and the brakes are rotora slotted & drilled with Axxis composite pads....barely been on the car 500 miles.

1/2 way through manual conversion but running out of time and dont have a spare set of hands to get the box in, so just giving up on it  ....I'm moving to China in around 2 1/2 weeks, wont be back for quite a long time.

Cant store it at house as we are planning to sell & leaving it outside wont help...so its time for it to go.

Theres plenty of bits n bobs, inc spare sets of 18" alloys with tyres, spare JDM exhausts, 2 spare autoboxes and a manual box etc etc. Conzult etc.....will put a list up later this afternoon.

The car had only done around 4000 miles since i got it, been doing it up for best part of 18 months out of the last 2 yrs :(

Motor has never missed a beat and has approx 65k miles but converted to uk clocks.

Like I said I'll post up all the details later today.....its going to be very cheap to clear it all!!!

UNSOLD to Ceejay...it wasn't suitable for what he needed.

Sooo its back for sale.....for £1500 including all the spares/parts listed.

This will make an ideal project car to finish off.

Need it sold quickly because I'm off to china very soon and I dont have the time to finish my car off, dont really want to break it if it can find a good home.

The bodywork will need flatting and polishing, the tailgate will need some work as there has been some shrinkage on some areas and also some shrinkage around where the wiper was removed.

The front bumper has some small cracks that will need some attention and also there is a small crack with the drivers side skirt about 8" long or thereabouts.

Some parts of the interior will need reassembling around the gearbox assembly.

Also the alarm will need reconnecting.

So there you have it..... :p

how has this not sold?! Id be over there with a truck to stick it all on in 5 mins if i wasnt so cash strapped :( Why couldnt you sell 6 months ago when i was buying :o

More pics.......

The motor has done just over 60k miles and has never missed a beat (prev owner was RainbowZTT), he got the timing belts and 60k service done. The car has been pampered by both of us.

Its always been a good starter with no probs.

Tubs are in good nick too, no smoke or anything.

There is no rust on this car at all. It has been completely sealed underneath.

I have just ran out of time to get the car done as I'm moving to China in just over 2 weeks.

If i've missed something its gonna be small.

The whole lot for £1500 :(

I just dont want it getting rusty on the drive. Spent far too much on parts to make my dream motor so wasnt prepared to cut her up for bits (well not yet anyway) :x:

Shes had the body work fiddled with as you can see in the pics - would make a great car if finished.

Hi m8,

I purchased the fibreglass panel from 300zx styling & LED rings and the centre lights from them from another company NOT zcentre. The LED's are DC so they only need 2 wires bud. So each light has 2 wires for the LED ring and 2 wires for the NON-LED centre light, so alll together there is 8 wires per side. By the time you've hooked it all up with load resistors for the led's it goes down to 2 wires per bank for the leds and then the usual for the brake lights and indicators.

Cheers

Marc

yes i have had to use resistors . but you shouldn't have to . as the resistors reduce the power down to much hence the lights are quite dim on side lights and when you apply the brake lights you get the full power to the units . you can get these units in what is called stop/tail led lights . which have 3 wires the ones with 2 wires are only tail lights . i have had to buy these new units because it failed the mot on the brightness of the rear lights . the ones with 3 wires are as bright as the 2 wire units when the brake is applied . and when the brake is applied on the 3 wire units they are twice as bright again . that is why the 2 wire units are wrong to use as stop and tail lights . anyway i still love the look of these lights .

hope the sale of your z goes well mate .

Hi Bud,

Mine are wired totally diff to yours bud, the led rings are wired as the main rear lights, 2 wire system with load resistors to keep brightness just right.

The brake lights and indicators are wire as per the normal Zed as Im using regular lights in the centres.

Works fine with no drop in voltages to the lighting array.

I didnt want a total rear and LED system so I did a half & half :D

Hopefully it wont take too long to sell otherwise i'll have to complete it when I get back :D

ah right mate . i am using the centre lights as reverse and indicator lights . so i have to use the led rings for the side and brake lights .
