how do i get sky tv upstairs for free, i know i can get sky to do it but they want an extra £10 a month for the privalege

There is a seperate ariel output on the back of the sky unit which you can run through the wall up to your bedroom back in the wall and into a tv. To change the channels you can by a video sender unit, cheap from maplins etc. You use the same remote control upstairs and hey presto sky tv in your bedroom. The only drawback is whatever someone watches downstairs will be the same upstairs. Hope this helps.

is there a way i can watch seperate upstairs, i can get my hands on a sky box and remote, i know in the bedsits i run they all get the free trial of sky and they run 3 boxes of one dish, i would like it to be independant from each other

for a start you will need a quad LNB Sat dish if your running sky plus or a dual LNB if your using normal sky or one normal and one plus.

 

Your can view all the freeview channels onthe box without a card. If you want to watch seperate sky channels then there are a few ways but unless you like using a soldering iron and pulling the 2 boxes appart then just pay the 10 squid

lol. getting multiroom is easiest way mate, i know it's £10 but it saves all the hassle

well im planning on dropping the sport and cartoon channel's as i dont watch them, wonder how much that would save, may pay for the extra box

Stella ...i called Sky and said i was cancelling , said the reason was too expensive ........given my current circumstances .......outcome , better package Sky movies aded and multi room for the same price im paying now ..............

 

spoke to my kids yesterday first time in two weeks .......all you guys words of encouragment and be strong for the kids held their value , i feel much better i know the kids will be ok and i will be ok eventually .........sorry for hijacking just had to share that with my online family
