Right i have fitted 5mm leds with the 470 ohm resister as described in previous threads but they are really dull, not as bright as the normal bulbs, which cant be right, am i over looking something.

Is it possible that the LEDs aren't pointing at the buttons? I spent ages aligning them with the text on mine.

I tried pointing at the buttons, then resoldered further back from the buttons as the original bulb was closer to the circuit board. Im wondering if maybe the resistor rating is too high but the specs say it should be 470 ohm. I cant get the air con side working yet have tried soldering both ways on the terminals.
