I have just fitted an Autogauge Air Fuel gauge to my Zed using the pin on the Ecu as stated here:-

http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=33722

Problem is that when I started her up she idled really high and wouldnt come down even after a 5 min drive around town.

Is this something to do with disconnecting the ECU from the battery?

I have only checked it once so far but thought it best to check before I do any damage by driving her!!

Thanks in advance

After reading a bit more about the O2 sensor I now realise that they can take up to 5 mins to warm up before they read correctly. I took her out for a nice run on the motorwar for at least 10 mins and it was working superbly!!
