mantav8 Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Try disconnecting the solenoid on the rack, could be the problem. Also if you have a speedo convertor fitted this can cause problems too! Quote
minder Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 is yours a jap import, does your speedo work ok, going thru same prob even replaced speed sensor, turns out to be dodgy converter Quote
GIBSTER-TT Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 i have the same problem speedo and power steering only works when it wants :( Quote
takemetothepub Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 i have the same problem speedo and power steering only works when it wants :( Yours will be speed sensor on the gearbox, about a ton from a trader 5 min to fit :duffer: Quote
GIBSTER-TT Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 really is this the only thing it can be? or could it be the speed converter bloody thing doing my nut in  Quote
takemetothepub Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Could be the converter but more likely than not its the sensor. Quote
