i've never heard of them myself but he has a high positive feed back and 1 negative in last 12 months. Found 3 people in the feed back comments with zeds had purchased this item (only went up to page 13 though) Seems good deal, but you pay your money, you takes your chance, im sure someone else has proberbly heard of them

I know a guy who isn't on the forum who bought one of these. A few weeks later I gave hime Smithy's number and he bought a RPS street Max off Paul.

His opinion of the above was it "slipped like a bast*rd" (his words not mine. I never new Bast*rds slipped any different to the rest of us)

it only takes one to say it slips like a you know what and it destrys your trust/faith.

anyone recommend me to go somewhere to source a clutch and if so where and what price did they pay.

cheers

folks

The RPS line of clutches are by far the most popular here and in the US mate, I personally sold well over 300 of them. Details are on the website below and danny (dta) can source for you :)

Problem with Ebay feed back is your suposed to make it within 28 days + the don't post any negative feed back only the posertive and what % of their feed back is posertive.

A clutch that is OK for 28 days and then starts to slip may have a posertive Ebay feed back but I expect a clutch to last years.

Wow up to 350bhp???!!!???? Thats about as good as a standard clutch then

That is true, as i said it seems a good deal, (price wise) but also added "you pay your money, you take your chance" Thought that would of said it all and make someone think twice.

Yes, but if your looking for the cheepest because your skint you don't need much of a glimmer of hope to take the plunge. I've certainly done it in the past and it usually ends up being costly.

Yeah I thought that and I'm sure the same clutches where being advertised on ebay quite recently claiming they could handle 450bhp

your not wrong there. Done it myself too and paid the price, 1 of the reasons i'm reluctant to buy anything off Ebay. It dont pay to try and skimp, i'd rather wait untill i can get the genuine thing or known brand now, especially where performance is concerened you end up paying the price in the end 1 way or another.

dont bother go rps you wont regret it! just make sure yur flywheel is true! any good clutch will die an early death with a warped/cracked flywheel
