The next Reading meet will be at the usual Comet car park next to The Madejski stadium J11 M4 Reading on Tuesday 21st August from 7pm until 9PM.

There has been a few people noted who have driven into or out off the meet in a dangarous way.

The Reading meet is only running because of the people who attend who are mature enough to realise that the public roads are no place to show off.

I have contacted Thames Valley Police as they have always been very helpful with the meet and they are willing to help out again.

If you are seen entering or leaving the meet in a way that would attract the wrong sort of attention your number plate will be taken and you will be asked to park up or leave the meet permanantly, if you are then spotted again and the police have a complaint your number plate details will be passed on.

In the eyes of the police you are disturbing a public gathering.

This may seem to be a bit harsh but the needs of the many outway the needs of the few.

Stay safe Stay alive.

People are just shy.

There should be a few there. :)

I should be there for this one, see if we can beat the 4 zeds that turned up last time. I don't usually get there till around 8 tho

I would but I live in Wales but a friend in the village drove all the way to it in a celica and said it was great

funny you live n wales but have the exact same IP address as someone in Surrey......

Internet works in strange ways wouldnt you agree :)

Seeins as how everyone on this thread should be fairly local....further to my thread in the advice section, does any one have any experience or know anyone with some of Kremer's Motor Body Repairs in Theale? I got referred to them by a 'mate' I see in the gym and just got a fantasticly low quote for mending my front AND rear bumpers...which makes me think...is this too good to be true or is everyone else I got estimates off tryin to get the better of me??

Anyone??

All help much appreciated!!!

I dont know about them but Sunnyside autos did a really good job and with really really good customer service.

My mate went there as some lowlife keyed his evo in Redaing and they were £100 cheaper than the rest.

There near Reg Vardi i will see if i can dig there number out.

I checked out Sunnyside but their quote was £200 more than Kremers. Also, I checkout out Kremers and the owner 'secured' my rear bumper for me to make it road safe and after only a morning's work it looks like new bar the actual damage to the fibre glass and paint work and best of all...it was FREE! I'm planning on booking the Zed in for the front and rear bumpers to be touched up in October...will let you know how it goes...

Realy good meet tonight guys.

And back on form
