if i bought THIS kit would i need any thing else to fit it, As it says::

Does not include fittings, hoses, or plumbing to deliver fuel to and from the fuel rails. We do have plumbing kits available depending on your application.

 

what else do i need or can this be fit by just taking out the old rail and putting this in it's place???

Thanks Paul, yeah i thought of that but was thinking as it's a stripped down(ie rebuild) and looking through the site i saw the above kit, just thought with it having new connector's rail etc in the kit then it would save any other possible problems in that area of the re-build. Or should there be no probs just fitting the injector's

You'd need an ECU upgrade in the form of either a socketed and chipped standard ECU, or a piggy back fuel fuel air controler such as a Apexi SAFR etc, or a tunnning house ECU for the 555's or a Stand alone ECU replacement like a AEM or such like.

 

Yes if you just get the injectors you really need to replace the injector seating rings, the lower and upper injector sealing rings, the cap insulators with the little half moon washers, injector plugs most likely and the upper plenum gasket. Which I recon will cost you about the same.

So if i buy that full kit with the rail then, it will plug staight into my fuel supply with out any other parts. Am i right in thinking that.

NOPE!

You need the fitting kit to fit the new rails, dunno why they just didn't include it but it is extra.

The other advantage of the kit is it designed with the intention of keeping the flow to No.6 cylinder constant which the stock rails and the 850cc border kit does not do.

I've sold around 6 of these kits in different configurations and all seem very happy so far :)

Hi Graeme,All you need is the standard fuel rail and standard lower plenum but new O rings to go with the 555 injectors, ive just sold my 555cc to Ryan cos i got 740cc injectors but he might still have them...he says...!! Wev got all the programs for 555 injectors so like i said i can burn you one off free when we complete your engine SOON !! PS thanks for all the help and advice the other night... speak 2 u soon
