Just changing the oil (should do as i've had the car almost 3 years!)

 

Put in some Molyslip and 2 litres of 80-90.....

 

How many more litres do i need i have heard it's 2.1 although someone told me it was 4,5 which i think is the engine oil not gearbox???

Not much more mate, think its around 3 quarts, 2.8 litres but i may well be mistaken, definately not more than 3litres as i did mine recently!

Why are you using 80-90, I think the recommended is 75-90, and the best is redline mt90?

Couldn't find any Redline Jeff said 80-90 should be fine although i should also mention i drained the oil and only got out just over 1/2 litre......could be the cause of my gearbox/clutch noise in 1-3rd i guess?

 

If you think the Castrol 80-90 is really crap i can always change is as it's quite an easy job and have to do the engine oil soon.....let me know what you think Mark?

Might be an idea to flush it out with the crap castrol, and then use the proper stuff mt90 to get rid of your crunch!
