Decat pipes-What do you do with.......?

Hi Guys,

just fitting decat pipes to my 90TT. What do you do with the Exhaust recirc rubber pipes from the old front pipes?

Do you just tie them up or do you have to block them or do you join one side to the other?

Will I need to do anything anywhere else on the engine IE with EGR valves etc.

    Come on everyone with De-cat pipes, someone must know the answer?

    They are the AIV pipes, the entire AIV system can be easily removed as its not required when decatted.

    What happens if I just leave it where it is, do I need to cap the pipes or are they OK just open to the air?
